You need to get enough protein everyday. Proteins are beneficial to all the organs of the body including the skin, muscles and blood. Try substituting ground turkey for ground beef in your recipes. This cuts down on calories and saturated fat. It’s important to discriminate between ground turkey breast and dark turkey meat, as dark turkey and ground beef are nutritionally similar. Certain ground turkey blends include dark meat and breast meat, and therefore the saturated fat content is still a bit high.
